Samkelisiwe Phungula is a dedicated Industrial Relations Officer who brings both academic excellence and practical experience to her role in the field of labour relations. She holds an Honours degree in Industrial Sociology, which provides her with a deep understanding of workplace dynamics and the sociological factors that influence employer-employee relationships.

With specialized experience in industrial relations, Sam has developed a solid foundation in the practical application of labour relations principles. As an Industrial Relations Officer, she serves as a comprehensive resource for members of the Employers' Organisation for Hairdressing, Cosmetology, and Beauty (EOHCB) within Richards Bay and the greater KwaZulu-Natal province.

In her role with the EOHCB, she manages the full spectrum of industrial relations matters for member businesses. Her responsibilities encompass grievance procedures, disciplinary processes, retrenchment matters, business development initiatives, and various human resources functions. This diverse portfolio demonstrates her versatility and comprehensive understanding of workplace management challenges.
