The Employers' Organisation for Hairdressing, Cosmetology and Beauty (EOHCB) is pleased to introduce Ms Njabulo Thabethe (Njabs), who has joined the organisation as the Industrial Relations and Business Development Consultant for KwaZulu-Natal, based in Richards Bay.
Njabulo is a Labour Law and Industrial Relations professional with a growing footprint in workplace relations, dispute resolution, and business advisory services in South Africa. In her role at the EOHCB, she provides support to employers on labour law compliance, collective bargaining matters, dispute management, and workplace relations within the hairdressing, cosmetology, beauty, and skincare industry.
Her professional experience includes managing labour disputes, CCMA-related matters, disciplinary and grievance processes, negotiations, written applications, and advising businesses on compliant and effective employment practices. She is passionate about assisting employers to establish stable workplaces while protecting organisational interests through practical and solution-driven labour relations support.
In addition to providing industrial relations guidance, Njabulo's role focuses on strengthening the EOHCB's presence throughout KwaZulu-Natal by building relationships with salons, spas, barbershops, beauty studios, and other industry stakeholders. She engages with employers to identify industry needs, promote the value of employer organisation membership, and contribute towards the sustainable growth of the industry and organisation.
As a young female professional in South Africa, Njabulo is committed to building influence within the labour law, industrial relations, and business leadership space while creating opportunities for long-term impact and growth.
Njabulo believes that EOHCB membership provides employers with valuable labour relations support, industry representation, and practical guidance to help businesses operate confidently and remain compliant within South Africa's labour law framework. Through the organisation, employers gain access to experienced assistance in managing workplace challenges proactively and professionally.
She further recognises the important role the EOHCB plays in representing employer interests during collective bargaining and broader industry discussions, particularly for small and medium-sized businesses that may not have access to internal human resources or legal expertise.
The EOHCB warmly welcomes Njabulo to the team and looks forward to the value and support she will continue to provide to members throughout KwaZulu-Natal.
