INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS CONSULTANT & BUSINESS DEVELOPER
SOUTHERN GAUTENG DIVISION - JOHANNESBURG
(Full-time position – Remote working environment)
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
· Grade 12
· Previous IR and or HR experience essential
· Representation in disciplinary hearings, conciliation, mediation, and arbitration
· Have strong administrative skills
· Computer Literate in Microsoft Office
· Effective communication skills both written and verbal
· Well-groomed and confident
· Willing to travel and has a valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle
· Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
· No criminal convictions
· Must reside in Gauteng (Johannesburg) or be willing to relocate
ADVANTAGES:
· Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Labour Relations/Law, Industrial Relations Management or Human Resource Management
· Knowledge of and experience with Employers’ Organisations – History, Functions, Processes, and Structures
· Previous experience engaging with Trade Unions
· Knowledge of and experience with Bargaining Councils.
· Experience working on SAP
· Vaccinated against COVID-19
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist and facilitate with Industrial Relations support to members
· Assist members with labour-related queries, facilitate and represent at disciplinary hearings, conciliation, mediation, and arbitration
· Assist members with compliance of the Main Collective Agreement and Labour Legislation
· Build and maintain professional relationships with members
· Maintain and provide accurate monthly records and reports
· Professional interaction and liaison with Bargaining Council agents and Trade Union
Representatives
· Handling or escalating queries from members
· Weekly planning and attending to appointments
· Business development (recruitment of new members for the organisation)
REMUNERATION:
Basic Salary: R16 500.00 Travel Allowance: R2 871.00
Cell phone Allowance: R900.00 Data Allowance: R300.00
