The EOHCB operational staff wishes all members a happy and prosperous new year! The first edition of the EOHCB Journal for 2021 pays tribute to our colleague, leader, mentor, pillar, and friend Mr Victor Msomi who sadly passed away Saturday, 9 January 2021, provides dates to be diarised for the respective Divisional Annual General Meetings taking place during March and April 2021, focuses on the election of Divisional Executive Committee delegates for each division as 2021 is an election year. The determining of an employer and employee relationship is defined and discussed in detail, and small businesses are provided with key advice on how to reduce unnecessary expenses, increase revenue, and to keep employees, customers, and the community safe whilst managing the effects of COVID-19 on business.
The National Manager of the EOHCB informs members that The EOHCB is working towards introducing new processes based on digital access and participation.
